Evelyn Rees Burt collection, 1866-1969.

Genealogical materials, family and business papers and correspondence, pic tures, tax and receipts, mortgages, a will, old newspapers and clippings. Regarding the 50th anniversary of the Jasper Florida Presbyterian Church, by Rev. E.F. Montgomery. There are holograph tax and financial materials related to lumber and other supplies from merchants in Key West, Florida, 1881-1910. The correspondence includes two letters by Episcopal Bishop, Edwin G. Weed, for whom Camp Weed on the gulf beyond Panacea, Florida, was named, as well as a photograph of a young boy identified as Joe B. Gudenrath.

Mrs. Evelyn Rees Burt's grandmother was Anna Amelia Schlemmer, who married George Otto Adicks of Lake City, Florida. The Rees family originated in Southern Georgia, Virginia and Carolina, and settled in Jacksonville, Florida.
