The Audio-Visual Collection in general is a diverse collection that offers its users a unique perspective of North Carolina State University. Included in this large series are the agriculture programs Aspect, Now Show, and WRAL Farm Program, all of which focus primarily on North Carolina agriculture. The shows in this collection are from the 1960s through the 1970s. Aspect was hosted by Hal Reynolds, and this show deals with such topics as plant propagation, animal husbandry and how to avoid dangers around the farm. Now Show was hosted by Ruth Sheehan, and includes stories on local arts and crafts, farm equipment, and interviews with agricultural experts. WRAL Farm Program is also concerned with the North Carolina agricultural scene from the 1960s and 1970s. The items included under the subject heading "Agriculture--4-H" focus primarily on 4-H Club events and activities in North Carolina. Also included in this subject heading are interviews with prominent local and national individuals who were involved with 4- H Club activities.
