Jefferson Davis letter, 1875 Aug. 30.

This small collection consists of an August 30, 1875, letter written and signed by former Confederate president, Jefferson Davis, in response to an invitation to attend the Owen County, Kentucky fair in October 1875. The original invitation written by Alex Rodgers, Secretary of the Owen County A & M Association, is also present.
