Autograph letter signed : London, to Arthur Moore, 1889 Sept. 8 [i.e. 12].

Asking Moore why he did not join Dowson and friends on a night out, noting that "we consumed many Lagers & disputed concerning many things." Hoping to see Moore soon, noting that he will be at the Victoria that evening as Louis Bouthers will be returning to France. Complaining about the editor of The Critic, and prophesying its death, as well as his own. Quoting Swinburne "O subtle & sanguine Arturos," asking him to meet Dowson the following day.
