Discourse delivered by Heber C. Kimball, 1852, April 8.

Discourse delivered by Heber C. Kimball on the "3rd day of the conference," April 8, 1852. In it he expresses hopes for the future of the "rising generation" of young Mormons, and hopes that they will not be swayed by the "luxuries" of items such as coffee, tea, peaches, and apples. He also sets forth a call for 500-5,000 Mormon "men, women and children" to travel on foot to Zion (Utah). The text notes that 88 names were given as volunteers for this mission following Kimball's discourse. Probably in the handwriting of George D. Watt, first editor of the Journal of Discourses.

1 manuscript, 8 pages.
