RG 2008.19. Proposed drawings for Supreme Court and Law Library Building. Dates 1945-1946, 1955-1957, 1966-1966, 1969. The architectural firm of Smith, Hichman, and Grylls are responsible for the early drawings dating 1945 to 1965. Also includes 2 drawings (1999) for the Michigan Hall of Justice which was built in Lansing. Building dedicated on October 8, 2002. Prior to this date, the Supreme Court was located in the G. Mennen Williams Office Building, Lansing (Mich.). The Michigan Law Library moved to the Michigan Library and Historical Center (c. 2002).

L.F. Seymour of Farwell (Mich.) won the bid to construct a gravel road, located mostly in Ionia County and a bit of Kent County (Mich.). Seymour and Frank F. Rogers, the then State Highway Commissioner, signed the contract on Oct. 1, 1920. Seymour later sued for $10,663.21, his unpaid balance. He was eventually paid.
