Autograph letter signed : London, to Arthur Moore, [1889 Mar. 6].

Discussing their collaboration on "The Passion of Dr. Ludovicus," praising Moore's work on chapter V, and noting that chapter VI is proving "amazingly difficult." Alluding to his "experiment" with the barmaid called "Lena" (See MA 1625.18), stating "I think I have her." Agreeing with Moore's statement that "Mimi doesn't exist," but noting that "it is a great pity." Mentioning their collaborative work on "The Passion of Dr. Ludovicus," and enclosing (not present) a "rather waggish article" by Andrew Lang.
