Flora Belle Smith Reece : an oral history / interviewed by Dawn Letson, 1997.

Reece discusses her family and childhood in Oklahoma. She describes her WASP pilot training and graduation at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, Texas; duty assignments at Foster Field, Victoria, Texas; B-26 school at Harlington Air Force Base, Harlington, Texas; and Enid Army Air Base, Enid Oklahoma. After the WASP program was deactivated in December 1944, Reece became a flight instructor and flew charter flights in Oklahoma City, Married and raised a family. Eventually Reece and her husband served two years with the Peace Corps in Malaysia, India, and Thailand.
