Quote from an epilogue to Measure for measure [manuscript], ca. 1811.

Ten line speech given by the Duke beginning "For thee sweet saint if for a brother sav'd." Epilogue appended to several nineteenth-century acting editions, including that of Oxberry, Kemble, and Cumberland. Written on the back of a fragment of an address leaf addressed to Mrs. Siddons, Westbourne Farm, Paddington. Date based on watermark.
