Dudley A. Saville was born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1933. He died at his home in Princeton, New Jersey on October 4, 2005. He attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He taught at Princeton University from 1968 until his death. In addition to numerous papers he co-authored tow important books on colloidal and electrophoretic separations.
