Autograph letter signed from William Farren, Covent Garden Theatre, London, to unidentified recipient [manuscript], 1820s? Friday.

In consequence of a new tragedy and a new farce at Covent Garden next week, he shall not be employed after next Wednesday. He seeks an offer for 4 nights performance. Letter addressed "Sir." With two newspaper clippings, one dated 1843 describing Farren's recent illness and one describing Farren's farewell benefit performance, dated July 1855. Also, a print of Mr. W. Farren as Sir Anthony Absolute (published by G. Smeeton, 17 St. Martin's Lane, 1818).
