Eduard Julius Hans Mueller Papers 1896-1920; 1896-1912.

The items in this collection comprise personal papers of the Rev. Eduard Julius Hans Mueller from approximately 1896-1919. There is a handwritten diary, handwritten and typewritten correspondence, printed pamphlets and programs, and an edited manuscript of a book Pastor Mueller translated from German to English. The diary has the notation "Private Diary" on its cover, but appears to be only material related to the mission station where Pastor and Mrs. Mueller worked. It is a bound, handwritten, notebook with information from 1896-1912 pertaining to Pastor Mueller's beginnings as a missionary and annual mission station reports for 1901-1912. Each year begins with a brief summary of events written in German. A detailed yearly report of the mission station follows the brief summary. Pages 63-90 have been cut out and are missing. Other items in the collection include one folder of programs and pamphlets and one folder of items pertaining to a book on tropical diseases that Pastor Mueller translated from German to English. Within the folder containing the edited, translated manuscript are three letters to Pastor Mueller from people he requested read the manuscript.
