Letter, 1804 September 28, New Haven [Conn.] [to] John West, Boston [Mass.].

Letter written by Webster to John West, bookseller, in which Webster notes that the Merriams in Worcester are printing an impression of his book for some people in Grafton who want to sell it in Charleston. Thus, Webster suggests that they furnish bookstores in Charleston with his revised edition. Webster also questions the validity of the number of copies sold in Boston as stated in the advertisement for the new edition.
