Let's make a deal : the Mark Hofmann plea bargain, [1988?] / Robert Funk.

Short history of the Mark Hofmann murder and forgery case. Mark Hofmann's pipe bombings on October 15 and 16, 1985, killed Steven Christensen, who was arranging to purchase some documents from Hofmann, and Kathleen Sheets, the wife of Christensen's former business partner. On October 17, another bomb exploded in Hofmann's car in Salt Lake City, wounding Hofmann and leading to his arrest. Hofmann was charged with the murders of Christensen and Sheets, and was also charged with 13 counts of second degree felony theft by deception. Hofmann pleaded guilty to certain of the charges and promised to answer questions about his forging operations in return for reducing his sentence to life in prison.

Mark William Hofmann (born in 1954), a disaffected member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was a prolific counterfeiter who murdered two people in Salt Lake City, Utah.
