The abuses of certain officers of the Exchequer, Sheriffs, receivers and other officers with their remedies [manuscript], ca. 1612.

A discussion of the Exchequer and its shortcomings, probably written by one of its officers. This work seems to be one of the many schemes for improving the revenues put forward about this time (see F.C. Dietz's English public finance, 1558-1641, p. 163). The concluding paragraph refers to Richard Putto (Puttes); see Cal. S.P. Dom., July 6, 1611 and later.
