A treatise of 10 titles, the last of which is absent. The author, Alexander King, is described as "advocatus et admirallus delegatus." Sources and literature of Scots law, Stair Society, vol. I, p. 331, mentions a manuscript "Tractatus legum et consuetudinum navalium" by Alexander King, Judge Admiral of Scotland, ca. 1587-1592, dealing with the general maritime law under 10 titles, but with an appendix. Dedicated to Francis Stewart ... earl of Bothwell.
