A novelized transcription of the 1915 silent film, The secret of the submarine. In addition to writing out the plot and dialogue of the film, Dixon supplemented the text with hand-clipped movie stills and actor portraits. The ms. concludes with a 7-page "sequel," which furnishes the plot of the film with a "happy ever after" ending of Dixon's own invention. --cf. p. [171].
