Factory invoices : G.S. & Co. 1842-1850.

Account book and purchasing record for tools, equipment and raw materials used at the mill. Suppliers were often Vermont firms, including Black River Canal & Manufacturing Co., the Vermont Copperas Co., and Gilman Shedd, Windsor, Vt. The volume was later used as an account book of the Spaulding family of Proctorsville; the name Mrs. E.A. Spaulding is written on the first page, with records of family purchases (hogs, Thanksgiving turkeys, etc.) made in the 1890's and early 1900's written in the front and back of the book.
