This series contains records of the China Mission Society (CMS). They are handwritten and typewritten minutes, reports, and receipts from 1901-1923. The majority of the records are minutes from the general meetings of the society and meetings of the CMS board. There is a bound notebook with minutes from 1901-1919 handwritten in Swedish. It includes general society meeting minutes as well as board meeting minutes. The two bound volumes are typewritten, English translations of society and board minutes from 1901-1923. Other records in the series include handwritten receipts from the Minnesota State Tidings Publishing Company for wrapping and mailing issues of Luthersk Tidskrift for Hednamission och Diakoni; these date from 1907-1908. Also included in this series are printed copies of the CMS constitution from1902. There are handwritten treasurer reports and notes of items used in minutes. These are the originals that were used in the handwritten and printed minutes found in both bound volumes of society minutes. All handwritten reports and minutes are in Swedish. Duplicates were removed.
