Papers comprised chiefly of letters John Barnett sent to his mother in Schenectady, New York, in regards to his experiences of serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnamese Conflict. These letters indicate that his principle duty was managing a post exchange. These papers also include several unidentified photographs related to Barnett's military service.
