Anne Sexton letters and poems, 1963-1974.

The collection contains seven typewritten letters and one poem, most with numerous mistakes and corrections: letters to Boo (Ruth Inglis) 20 March 1963, discussing several English poets, and including the poem Mother and Jack and the rain; 21 July 1966, hoping to get together in London during a stopover on the Sextons' flight to Africa; 20 Dec. 1966, thanking her for her hospitality in London, and relating news of her trip to Africa and her broken hip; letter to Boo, 11 Feb. 1967, on her plans to come to London during the Summer for the Festival of Poetry, and possible plans for travel afterward. Letter to William Doreski, 8 July 1969, thanking him for a book of his poetry he sent, and of her plans to read it after she completes the play she is working on; to Marianne Mantell of Caedmon Records, 31 Jan. 1974, discussing plans for a recording of Sexton reading some of her poems; letter to Marianne Mantell, 20 Feb. 1974 finalizing plans for a recording of Sexton's poems.
