There was only one individual to hold an exhibition design related curatorship at the Museum. This was D. Craig Craven. Craven joined the Museum staff in March 1964 as the exhibitions designer. The following year the position title was changed to assistant curator of exhibitions. In 1970 Craven was promoted to curator of exhibitions. Milton McGreevy was born in Chicago on January 27, 1903. His family moved to Kansas City during his youth and he graduated from Westport High School. McGreevy received a bachelor's degree from Harvard, and then earned a degree from its graduate school of business in 1926. Following this, he came back to Kansas City to work at his father's brokerage - Sternberg McGreevy & Co.
