Eight boxes containing loose portraits of Amelia Peabody and other Peabody family members of Boston, Marblehead, and North Rochester, Mass.; Eaton family members; friends; and images of travels, animals, boats, and family residences. Thirty albums contain portraits and informal photographs of Peabody and Eaton family members and friends; outdoor activities; sailing and sailboats; horses and horse shows; foreign travel in Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia; and include one album devoted to Amelia Peabody's sculpture. Members of the Foster, Goddard, Kinsley, and Tobey families, among others, are also represented. Includes daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes, cartes-de-visite, cabinet cards, and other paper-based photographs. Includes photographs taken by James Wallace Black, Augustus Marshall, James Notman, Morris Burke Parkinson, H.W. Reynolds, John Adams Whipple, Southworth & Hawes, and Whipple & Black, among many others.
