Papers of Sarah Knowles Bolton, 1890-1892.

The collection contains the manuscripts of a poem "The inevitable," and the last verse of "A bit of blue sky" with a newspaper copy of the poem attached. Letters to S.S. McClure discuss getting Francis Parkman to write about his experiences in the far West; an article about dogs that would teach love of animals; and the possibility of Andrew Carnegie or Andrew D. White having something good to say about the south or the "colored question"; and congratulate him on securing the Pratts as writers. There is also a signed magazine photograph of Bolton.
