Album leaf with autograph quotations, 1868-1891.

A leaf from an autograph album contains a quotation from Matthew Arnold's poem "On the Terrace at Berne, "signed by Arnold 1868 February 27. On the same leaf is Max Muller's sanskrit version of Arnold's poem, April 15, 1891; Edwin Arnold's version of the poem, n.d.; a signature by George MacDonald, August 2, 1888; and a verse by Charles Vaughan, May 10, 1871.
