Papers of Elizabeth Taylor Newton Bruce, 1916-1917.

The collection contains a drawing "Did Kitchener wield Excalibur?" by E.V. Nadherny. The collection also contains correspondence between Mrs. Bruce, the New York Herald, and E.V. Nadherny concerning his drawing which Mrs. Bruce wished to show in a fund-raising exhibit for relief of the Allies. In addition there is a speech of Mrs. Bruce given in Norfolk, Va.; Old Berrington and Williamstown, Vt. and Port Kent, N.Y. in 1916 explaining a collection of World War I posters [transferred to Rare Books]. A postcard photograph "H.R.H. the Prince of Wales on a Route March" is laid in the speech.
