The collection contains a Virginia treasury note no. 78119 for one dollar, issued 15 May 1862; a State of Florida bearer note no. 10,099 for one dollar, issued 1 March 1863, signed by governor John Milton and treasurer C.H. Austin; Confederate States of America bearer note no. 65375 for fifty dollars, issud 17 February 1864. Also, Asa Holt bearer note no. 9 for fifty cents, issued 1 March 1862, Mobile, Ala.; Mobile and Ohio Railroad Co. bearer note for ten cents when five dollars or its multiple is presented, issued 15 February 1862, Macon, Miss.; and the State of Louisiana, Parish of St. Tammany, bond for twenty-five cents, issued 1 January 18.
