Joseph Willson (d.1800?), a native of Rhode Island and a sailor during the Colonial War, moved to Basking Ridge, NJ and from there moved to Warwick, Orange Co., NY. He was married to Elizabeth Rickey and they had at least nine children including Isaac Willson (b.1768) who married Sarah Phillips (b. 1775). He died about 1800 and was buried at Warwick.
