The papers contain an untitled Christmas carol by Fitzgerald beginning "Sing, ye children, songs of gladness." Letters to George Crabbe and Anna Beddill mention the work of Thomas B. Macaulay, Richard Burton, Sir Walter Scott, Thomas Carlyle and William Kemble. He notes that Quaritch is reprinting his version of a Greek play, and a possible deal with Longman's. There are two letters to Dorothy Furman from W. Irving Way and Louis Herbert Gray regarding the Rubáiyát, and Furman's bibliography on the Rubáiyát. A clipping of the New York Times Saturday Review's printing of the bibliography is included.
