Letters of the Seymour family 1846-1847.

The collection consists of letters to Dr. George S. Seymour, Litchfield, Conn, from his brother John S. Seymour and from Edward P. Cheney, who were salesman for the distribution of medical devices in Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. Their letters discuss the splint business, travel hardships, freight problems, orders, and sales territory disputes.
