General description of the collection: The Harold R. Duffie photograph collection includes his duty on the Mexican Border. Very few are of World War II. Most of this collection contains photos of his service following his promotion to colonel. There are hundreds of photos dealing with Camp Kilmer, Fort Eustis, and New Orleans Port of Embarkation. Duffie was a very social person and hundreds of the photos are of parties, balls, receptions, parades, and other social affairs. There are photos of the various activities at Camp Kilmer and Fort Eustis, even a Boy Scout Jamboree. There are many duplicates of photos throughout this collection as well.
