General description of the collection: The Gerald R. Patterson photograph collection consists basically of three parts: 1. Photographs of the march, maneuvers and review of the Third Corps area, 1934-1935; 2. Long rolled photos of the 34th U.S. Infantry Regiment and maneuver areas at Fort Meade, Maryland, Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, and Fort Benning, Georgia, 1934, 1935 and 1940; 3. Activities and personnel of the 793rd Military Police Battalion, 1955-1958.
