Wide ranging medical recipe with a subject index in the rear with 187 entries. Presumably she made the entries daily at random, as various pens were used. The entries are very detailed and cover such topics as boils, blood vessels breaking, preventing miscarriages, and numerous treatments for cancers and tumors of the breast. Endpaper is dated "Nov ye 17th 1790".
