This series consists of educational and promotional material published from 1919 to 1962 by the Women's Missionary Society/United Lutheran Church Women of the United Lutheran Church in America. This material comprises a variety of subjects. Some of these include pageants, plays and presentations with mission-related themes, fund-raising appeals, historical information, profiles of missionaries, leader supplements for monthly programs, stewardship, home and foreign mission fields, thank offering programs, extension department readings, Lenten prayer and self-denial programs, and monthly meeting programs. A large portion of material is the monthly meeting program material. Most material has a number and a year typed or written on its face. The material is organized in numerical order according to these numbers, but it is uncertain what they correspond to, and if the year is the year the material was published. These records are in numerical order and chronological order. Although they are in numerical order, not all numbers are represented. The last two boxes contain unnumbered material and material too large for the smaller boxes used in the series.
