Taylor, writiing as General Secretary of the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, thanks Brown for $60.00 and the example he has set. He asks Brown to write an article for "The Commission" on the subject of the contribution, as well as other shorter articles. He regrets that Brown cannot attend a meeting that will be small due to cholera in Richmond.
