Letters to Russell Smith, 1842 and 1849.

On April 18, 1842, Henry D. Rogers, University of Virginia, writes to Smith requesting that a picture be finished in time for Rogers to take it to Boston and display it, thereby gaining more business for Smith. On December 13, 1849, James L. Cabell, University of Virginia, writes to Smith discussing delivery of some drawings and terms of payment which are dependent on Henry D. Rogers' return to Charlottesville.
