Contains the following types of materials: photographs, photo album. Covers the following time period: 1930-1963. General description of the collection: The William H. Harris photograph collection includes photos which only cursorily cover his career. There is only a portrait photo of Harris as a cadet. There is only one photo of his service in Panama. There is very little dealing with his staff position during World War II. Most of the collection deals with his service post 1947, his tenure as Chief of Military History and his final years before retirement with the Army Material Command. Many of the photos are of parties, receptions, dinners, and other social events.
