Craig expresses his views on contemporary stage design. Apologizes for the delay in responding; he was busy producing operas and masques and the recipient's letter was lost "in a heap of designs for scenery, costumes + the like."

Edward Gordon Craig (1872-1966) était acteur, metteur en scène, scénographe, graveur et théoricien du théâtre.
