Eager, George B. 1911 letter and brochure.

Eager writes to alert Temperance supporters about the importaance of electing people of either party who are in favor of temperance. He mentionsby name several people who are pro and anti alcohol. He discusses in particular the races for Governor, Lt. Governor and the legislative districts. The Anti-Saloon League favors for Governor and Lt, Governor the ticket of McCreary and McDermott over Addams and Edwards. They also state that the "Liquor Interest are fighting tooth and nail" to defeat Judge E.C. O'Rear who is a temperance supporter. They use for an example of the need to get out the vote a pamphlet with a letter sent to lawyers in each county by "The Model License League", a pro-liquor agency.
