Henry Wesley Tutewiler (1842-1920) was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Ind. He served in the 17th Indiana Infantry Regiment as clerk to John T. Wilder and was promoted to Regiment Quartermaster Sergeant. After the war he operated small businesses in Indianapolis, and later became an undertaker.
