Abstract of title and list of incumbrances for Dow's Addition to the city of Healdsburg : Sonoma County, Calif., 1856-1922.

Abstract of title (241 p.) for sections of property which comprise the northeast corner of a lot bordered by the east side of West Street (now Healdsburg Ave.) and the south side of Piper Street in Dow's Addition. The abstract summarizes transfers of deeds, but also mortgages and assignments. Originally part of the Fitch claim (once part of Rancho Sotoyome), the property was sold by Josefa Fitch to William R. Dodge on June 26, 1856. It was later passed on in various sections to William B. Dow, Jacob G. Heald, Henry Lambert, Hiram J. Smith, George McNear, Carl Hildebrand, and others. Also included is the abstract of the patent which establishes and verifies the Fitch claim. In addition, there are abstracts of the probate proceedings for the Lambert and Smith estates.
