The LeRoy Erickson Papers have been arranged into three series, I. Personal/Biographical, II. Legislative, and III. Constitutional Convention and then by subject within each series. They are composed of calendars, notes, newspaper clippings, correspondence, minutes, newsletters, papers, publications, reports, bills (legislative records), financial records, maps, membership lists, and brochures and a poster.

Kenneth LeRoy Erickson was born May 15, 1926 in DeLamere, North Dakota. After graduating from high school in 1944, he began farming with his father. He married Lila Moxness in 1946. Erickson began his long record of community service. He served on the Council of Immanuel Lutheran Church and as a Township Supervisor for Hall Township.
