Includes weaving draft books, ca. 1885-1895; Jacquard drawings; scrapbooks, 1885-1904, labelled "Textile gleanings," with clippings from publications about textiles, etc. Also contains papers of Charles Herrmann, a manufacturer of narrow fabric looms in Williamsburg, Mass., including cloth samples (swatches); a blank form from Herrmann's business; a photocopy of a section of his personal diary, Jan.-May, 1886; a letter, Aug. 7, 1886, from Knowles Loom Works, Worcester, Mass., giving price of shuttle harness frames; and a price list for wire heddles from J.H. & N.A. Williams, Utica, N.Y.
