An award certificate issued by the Massachusetts Society for Promoting Agriculture and presented to Mrs. John Hunter in October of 1825 for a second premium for blankets exhibited at the Brighton Show. An engraving, with the words "Commonwealth of Massachusetts" and a picture of the Massachusetts state seal, a cornucopia, a plow, and other agriculture implements, is printed at the top of the certificate.
