Sociologist, ethicist. Born in Wonju, Korea, Dr. Chung was Chair of the Sociology Departments at Heidelberg Collge and later Yonsei University for twenty years before becoming Walter G. Muelder Professor of Social Ethics at Boston University School of Theology. He is a member of the Society for Christian Ethics, the American Academy of Religion, and the Association for Asian Studies.
