General description of the collection: The Maurice Delaval collection contains photographs of four distinct but related groups. One group consists of 67 photographs all dealing with wartime views of people and places related to the Battle of the Bulge. A second group is of portrait photos of WWII general officers and colonels. A third group are photos from various individuals of groups of veterans at reunions, mostly ex-members of the 7th Armored Division. A fourth group consists of photos of General Bruce C. Clarke, some of him following retirement, guiding a tour of a battlefield somewhere in Belgium.

Bruce Cooper Clarke (1901-1988) was born in Adams, New York. After graduating from West Point in 1925, he commissioned with the Army Corps of Engineers.
