Contains photographs of the following military unit: 1st Army Vietnam (ARVN) Infantry Division. General description of the collection: The Peter E. Kelley photograph collection reflects the later part of Colonel Kelley's illustrious career as an airborne officer in the United States (U.S.) Army. There are very few and very miscellaneous photos from 1946-1948. An album of some 50 photos covers his family and activities in Japan between 1951 and 1953, with a few photos being from Korea. There is an oversize album of portraits of his subordinates, each with a cartoon or joke next to it, from his duty in Ethiopia in 1965 and 1966. Another oversize album and two smaller albums recount activities and personnel of the 1st ARVN Infantry Division in Vietnam in 1967-1968, and another album covers the Tet Offensive in those years. There is a folder of autographed general officer portraits and folder of color photos dealing with Colonel Kelley's retirement circa 1972.
