Series 1 of RG 65-37 consists of weekly reports of mines and furnace production of the Cleveland-Cliff Iron Company for the years 1869-73, 1878-80, 1884-85, 1889-92, and 1894-96. Consists mainly of reports of tonnage of ore mined, on hand, and shipped during week together with totals. Forms vary in detail. Furnance reports include amount of coal and flux consumed, total amount of iron produced, number of bushels of charcoal consumed per ton of iron and percent of ore yielded.
