Series 4 of RG 65-37 consists of payrolls of the Cleveland-Cliff Iron Company for the years 1866-69, 1873, 1875-85, 1890-92, and 1895. Consists of form reports of amount of labor done at various mines, coal and wood jobs, general office and store of the company. Offers date; name of employee; occupation; time worked; rate of pay per day; total amount of pay for month; amounts due company for rent, store merchandise, board, medical services, wood, and sundries; and total amount due individual and signature or mark of individual who received payment.
