Abstract

Volume (259 p.) which contains mostly handwritten documents concerning the formation and operation of the company. Includes articles of incorporation, Nov. 19, 1897, signed by Alvinza Hayward, L.W. Shinn, W.E. Sell, Thomas T. Lane, and A.H. Winn (later directors include Anna G. Lane, C.D. Lane, W.J. Dingee, Garret McEnerney, and H.G. Stevenson). Also, minutes from directors and stockholders meetings. Some pages with notes attached concerning resignations of directors, announcements for special meetings, and a letter, Nov. 30, 1917, certifying that the company's stock was purchased by Lane Investment Co.
